Lt. Cmndr Yinul Pagnim (sie/hir) is the chief tactical officer on the USS Calistoga. Sie is from planet Trill and is not joined with a symbiote.
Yinul is deaf in hir right ear and uses a hearing aid during work. Because life on a starship is unpredictable, when sie is not wearing hir hearing aid sie tends to keep it in hir pocket or nearby. Yinul usually practices their various martial arts without it on. sie has multiple copies/the coding of the parts of the hearing aid are saved so there are back ups just in case. They sign with their best friend Kass.
Yinul wears hir hair in a loose bob. Sie pins it up hir bangs for sparring or combat. Sie is 31 years old, 6'1", and has hazel eyes. Overall Yinul is a badass.
